The short version: Use GG Transcript only for conversations and content you are allowed to record and process. You remain responsible for reviewing automatic transcripts and AI outputs, protecting your account, and following the laws and policies that apply to your work.

✓Record with permission

Tell participants when recording or transcription is active and follow local, school, workplace, and platform rules.

✦Review before sharing

AI can mishear or overstate details. Check names, numbers, quotations, decisions, and deadlines against the source.

Have a question?

Ask the GG Transcript operator.

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms of Use govern your access to GG Transcript, including the Chrome extension, popup, side panel, website, backend services, and related features. By installing, accessing, or using the service, you agree to these terms. GG Transcript is operated by Harry Vu Le. If you do not agree, do not install or use the service.

2. What GG Transcript provides

GG Transcript can capture user-started audio, create speech-to-text transcripts with available transcription engines, save eligible History, and send text to Gemini when you request a selected output such as a summary, meeting notes, Q&A, email, table, or custom format. Features, language support, limits, and availability can change as the product develops. A feature label or sample image is not a promise that every account, browser, or plan receives the same capability.

3. Recording, consent, and lawful use

You must have the right to record and process the audio, conversation, meeting, lecture, interview, call, or browser content you submit. Tell participants when required and follow applicable privacy, wiretap, education, workplace, copyright, and platform rules. Do not use GG Transcript to secretly monitor people, bypass access controls, impersonate someone, or process information you are not authorized to handle. Chrome permissions do not change these responsibilities.

4. Accounts and security

You may use supported features as a guest or sign in for account-linked limits, History, and subscription access. Keep sign-in credentials and devices secure, provide accurate account information, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access when needed to prevent abuse, protect users, investigate fraud, or comply with law.

5. Plans, trials, and billing

Plan names, prices, trial duration, included limits, renewal timing, and available outputs are shown before checkout. Creem processes payment, taxes, recurring charges, cancellations, and refunds as the payment provider and Merchant of Record. Unless you cancel before renewal through the available management flow, a recurring subscription may renew according to the selected plan. Cancellation generally stops future renewal; it does not automatically reverse a completed charge. GG Transcript stores the identifiers and status needed to apply access and does not store full card credentials.

6. Your content and generated material

You keep responsibility for audio, transcripts, prompts, exports, and other content you submit. You allow GG Transcript to process that content only as needed to provide transcription, requested AI outputs, synchronization, usage accounting, security, and support. You are responsible for checking rights and confidentiality before sharing an export. Generated summaries, translations, tables, and rewrites may contain errors and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice.

7. Acceptable use and safeguards

Do not reverse engineer the service, probe or overload its backend, introduce malicious code, evade plan limits, misuse another person’s account, or use outputs to harm, deceive, harass, or unlawfully discriminate. Do not upload content that violates another person’s rights or a binding confidentiality obligation. We may enforce reasonable rate limits and remove or restrict content when necessary to keep the service safe and available.

8. AI output review

Transcription and Gemini outputs are assistive drafts. Recognition can be affected by accents, noise, overlapping speakers, terminology, language selection, connection quality, and incomplete context. Read the raw transcript and the final output before relying on it. Verify every important name, number, quotation, instruction, deadline, and decision against the original source. You remain the final editor and decision maker.

9. Availability, changes, and limits

We work to keep GG Transcript reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Browser changes, provider outages, network conditions, maintenance, and plan limits may affect a feature. We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of the service and will provide notice where practical. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without promises beyond those expressly described in the product interface.
